Happy Hump Day!

Much to update all my faithful readers on. I'll do what I do best, I'll make a list:

1. We got the apartment! We'll be living in Lancaster!
2. My company is moving to York. We will both have hour commutes.
3. We ordered our wedding bands! Went to Steven Singer in Philly, we get them in June!
4. We haven't decided on the wording for the invitations yet.

This weekend Mom, Grandma and I are going on a adventure to Park City to find a dress for Mom and a dress for me for Brian and Roselyn's wedding.

We have several busy weekends coming up....basically we're busy until after July 5th.

I finally got on the ball last night and ordered my wedding invites and my save the dates!

We have a cake baker! I booked Nov. 15 today! It will be Achenbach's in Leola. They made my parent's wedding cake 25 years ago. Our mini cake tasting was a great success! We are very excited to have that done!

Now, on to things like....where to live...? We went apartment shopping last weekend, and had some success. We are holding off on signing anything until we know how a few things pan out in the near future. More to come on the housing situation in the near future.

I am looking forward to having another weekend work-free! We will be spending Easter weekend upstate with my future in-law, whom I haven't seen since xmas! See y'all soon!

Happy Almost Friday!

We have signed the florist and photographers contracts! I am hoping that by the end of the month we may even have our engagement in the newspaper! We will also be getting save the dates out sometime this summer.

Tomorrow is Friday...TGIF.

Confirmations

What a weekend! Friday we met with Stacia from Petals and Beans in Strasburg. We LOVE her. I am really excited to sign that contract! She was just featured in The Knot PA/DE edition for a Lancaster wedding. Awesome photos.

On Sunday we had our tasting at Riverdale. The food was awesome! I hope we have time to eat the day of...that food is too good to pass up. And we FINALLY got to see the pavilion finished! There is a great view of the river from there too...it's to the left of the alter location.

I am presently in search of a cake baker that delivers on a Sunday...I have a few in mind, but we want to do tastings....mmmmm cake...

I also need a salon...one that will be able to accommodate all my ladies that need their hair done....and that is open on a Sunday.

In other news, I have a camera battery charger again! So hopefully I will be posting new pics soon!

Flower Girls....so adorable!

My flower girls (Ali and Erin) came over tonight and tried on dresses. The dresses are perfect! Grandma took them home for safe keeping. Kim, possibly Kelli, and I are going to York tomorrow to pick up my dress and get her fitted.
