Happy Monday!

Latest update: I ordered a dress! It will arrive in about 10 weeks. We have officially booked Riverdale Manor for the ceremony and reception. www.riverdalemanor.com Check it out - the place is AMAZING! We will be going back for food tasting on Feb. 7th. As of Friday, we also have a minister to preform the ceremony.

In other wedding news: Our registry is finished! We are registered at Kohls and Target. My awesome bridesmaids had a meeting of the minds this weekend and have OKed the dress I picked out for them. Our colors are green, brown and ivory. Since it is fall I think the brown dresses will look fantastic!

Next on the agenda, I have a few DIY projects in the works and we need to find and confirm a photographer and dj. Then the biggest milestones are taken care of! I want to have the summer to relax...at least that's my goal of the moment.

Have a great week!!

Dress Shopping

Hello All-

I went dress shopping this weekend with Dani (& Haley), Mom and Grandma. We went to Weddings by Paulette and Alfred Angelo. Both were alright. I found two at AA that I liked but nothing so far that I'm thrilled with. So the search continues... We have an appointment at David's Bridal on Tuesday, so hopefully something will amount from it.

In other news, Mark and I worked on our registry this weekend at Koh'ls and Target. I think after one more round of edits we will have it finalized. The first trip to Kohl's was fruitless. We spent an hour scanning items for our registry and the customer service guy managed to delete everything we had entered. So we went back on Sunday and were able to recify Saturday's faux pas. All is well now and the planning continues!

Ciao for now!

Engagement!

It's official! We're getting married! Mark proposed on New Year's Eve on our way into a New Year's party. We're planning on a November wedding.

In other news, I got a job on November 19. I am the Administrative Assistant for Advertising Sales at the YGS Group. I'm loving it! It's busy, challenging and my duties vary each day. I'm also back at Isaac's picking up shifts every other weekend to add to the wedding fund!

Pics and more posts to come later!

Ciao!

And the saga continues...

Well hello again Chitlins! I know my blog entries have been greatly missed by all. I have been busy doing all kinds of stuff. Scrapbooking, hanging out with family...looking for a job. The usual rundown. So if any of my fans out there are looking for a communications person with an interest in special events - please let me know!!

Mark and I went to the Red Bull Soap Box Race in Manyunk (sp?) on Saturday and then went to his coworker Adam's house for the day. We really had a great time! The rain came down in buckets and we were soaked, but we had fun!

Sunday we went to the Renn Faire with Kay, Nanners, Seth and Kyle. We were the outcasts...we didn't dress up. Oh well, I'll post the pics later on. Overall, we had a great time!

No real big plans today that I am aware of. It is my baby brother's 16th birthday! Maybe I'll make dinner and surprise the family... maybe not, who knows.

Must shower and start the almighty job search over again.

Ciao!

Tiresome Tuesday

Well it's morning alright. I have my coffee in hand and am working on the whole waking up procedure. Still no leads on jobs yet. I am really anxious about that. Oh well...all in due time, right?

On a brighter note, I had dinner with Grandma last night. It was very nice we had a leisurely dinner and hung out for a while and I left a little after nine. This weekend Mark and I are going to his friend Lori's apartment for the weekend. Should be a good time.

This past weekend we went up to his parent's house. He worked on Matt's car all day Saturday and I had a serious headache Sunday so nothing terrible exciting, but I had fun with his mom and sister in NY.

I'm off to conquer the world one press release at a time.

Photo Shoot

Yesterday was fabulous! I organized a big photo shoot for work. We drove all over Berks County getting pictures with the photographer we hired. Lots of fun! We stopped at the Yellow House Inn for lunch. Really good food! After the shoot was over I went over to Kim's new apartment...it is so cute! I love her furniture! And am so looking forward to having my own apartment so I can decorate it! Hopefully, next week I'll be able to post a few shots from the photo shoot. I got volunteered to be the "unassuming hiker" and "person on the swing" and "general sight-seeing person". Overall, it was a very good experience and I wish there would be another "Great Roadtrip of 2008" as Heidi coined it.

Cheerio!
